										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Otros problemas que preocupan a la población dominicana según la encuesta son la seguridad con un 21% y la política con un 8%.</h2>

<p>Según la<strong>&nbsp;Encuesta Barómetro de Las Américas, República Dominicana 2023</strong>: “Tomándole el pulso a la Democracia”, uno de cada dos dominicanos mencionó algún asunto económico como el problema más grave en el país el pasado año.</p>



<p>“Si bien en el país se está enriqueciendo a un ritmo más acelerado en comparación con otros países de la región, los dominicanos también están experimentando&nbsp;<strong>inflación</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>brechas salariales</strong>, y una&nbsp;<strong>falta de empleo&nbsp;</strong>de calidad que acompañan su notable crecimiento”, apuntan los resultados.</p>



<p>En promedio, los ciudadanos más jóvenes son más propensos a citar problemas económicos.</p>



<p>Después de 15 años el tema económico vuelve a colocarse como el&nbsp;<strong>problema más importante entre los dominicanos</strong>&nbsp;desde el 2008, cuando más de la mitad de la población vio la este factor como el principal problema.</p>



<p>Otros problemas que preocupan a la población dominicana según la encuesta son la&nbsp;<strong>seguridad</strong>&nbsp;con un 21% y la política con un 8%.</p>



<p>La encuesta presentada por<strong>&nbsp;María Fernanda Boidia</strong>, editora de este informe, además reveló un aumento en cuanto a la percepción de la&nbsp;<strong>corrupción&nbsp;</strong>en el país la cual pasó de un 59% en el 2019 a un 62% el año pasado.</p>



<p>Este 2023 es también la primera vez, con un 55%, que son más personas las que creen que la&nbsp;<strong>corrupción</strong>&nbsp;es tan frecuente en hombres como en mujeres en la&nbsp;<strong>República Dominicana</strong>; las encuestas anteriores mostraban que la mayoría creía que los hombres eran más corruptos.</p>



<p>Sin embargo, cuando se le preguntó a los más de mil encuestados cuál cree que sería la forma de generar cambios políticos en el país el 38% indicó que las elecciones.</p>



<p>“Introdujimos por primera vez en la ronda 2023 la consulta sobre cuál creen los ciudadanos que sería la mejor manera de generar cambios políticos y entonces le preguntamos: ¿Cuál es la forma en que usted cree puede influir más para cambiar las cosas en el país?, le dimos varias opciones y una mayoría relativa de dominicanos el 38%, es decir, casi 4 de cada 10 indicó que es las elecciones”, manifestó Boidia.</p>



<p>Estas declaraciones, fueron ofrecidas a raíz de las pasadas&nbsp;<strong>elecciones municipales</strong>&nbsp;en donde la&nbsp;<strong>abstención del voto se situó un poco más del 50%</strong>.</p>

<p>Without sound we lay there, the beast exerting every effort to reach me with those awful fangs, and I straining to maintain my grip and choke the life from it as I kept it from my throat. Slowly my arms gave to the unequal struggle, and inch by inch the burning eyes and gleaming tusks of my antagonist crept toward me, until, as the hairy face touched mine again.</p>



<p>By the light of the now brilliant moons I saw that he was but a shadow of his former self, and as he turned from my caress and commenced greedily to devour the dead carcass at my feet I realized that the poor fellow was more than half starved. I, myself, was in but little better plight but I could not bring myself to eat the uncooked flesh and I had no means of making a fire. When Woola had finished his meal I again took up my weary and seemingly endless wandering in quest of the elusive waterway.</p>
